Location: Nottingham

Salary: £16 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)

Overview: Metalis are currently working with an Aerospace manufacturer, who are looking for 4 experienced CNC Turners to join their team.

Job Duties:

  • Set and operate multiple CNC Lathes
  • Read and work from engineering drawings
  • Work to tight tolerances
  • Perform in-process inspection using measuring devices
  • Complete and maintain records
  • Use measuring equipment
  • Responsible for making jigs, fixtures or other specialised non-production devices

Job Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or 5 years' experience
  • Aerospace experience
  • Mazatrol and/or Fanuc control experience
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings

Salary & Shift:

  • £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Rotating mornings and afternoons
  • Monday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm & Friday, 6am - 1pm
  • Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 10pm & Friday, 1pm - 8pm
  • 10% shift premium on afternoons
