Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Norwich for a Manufacturing Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment, working as part of a production team responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of high-quality windows. You will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and cut materials accurately to specification
  • Use of machinery in a safe and controlled manner
  • Fabrication and assembly of frames and related components
  • Inspect finished frames for quality, proper alignment, and correct dimensions
  • Package and label completed frames for storage or dispatch
  • Loading and unloading of materials and finished products
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Follow production processes and quality standards
  • Support general production duties as required
  • All other duties as required to support the smooth running of the operation

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment desirable but not essential
  • Ability to use hand tools and machinery safely (training provided where needed)
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work to set targets and deadlines
  • Basic understanding of quality control standards

Hours & Pay
