Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Norwich for a Manufacturing Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment, working as part of a production team responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of high-quality windows. You will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and cut materials accurately to specification
- Use of machinery in a safe and controlled manner
- Fabrication and assembly of frames and related components
- Inspect finished frames for quality, proper alignment, and correct dimensions
- Package and label completed frames for storage or dispatch
- Loading and unloading of materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Follow production processes and quality standards
- Support general production duties as required
- All other duties as required to support the smooth running of the operation
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment desirable but not essential
- Ability to use hand tools and machinery safely (training provided where needed)
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work to set targets and deadlines
- Basic understanding of quality control standards

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Hours & Pay
