A permanent Home Manager post has become available in a luxury nursing home in Norwich that specialises in providing nursing care to the elderly.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote clinical and administrative arrangement, training and care planning within the home
  • Organising and motivating the carers to ensure good standards of care are delivered
  • Maintain and monitor the health and welfare of residents
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals (clients, GPs and other multi-disciplinary team members)
  • Ensure CQC National Minimum Standards regulations are met to ensure the needs, welfare and social inclusion of the residents are secured
  • Organising and attending regular staff meetings
  • Ensure the overall smooth, efficient and effective running of the care home at all times

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience as a care home manager
  • 40 hours per week
  • Small nursing home for the elderly

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager
  • Proven background in running home with Good and Outstanding ratings
  • Must hold RMA / NVQ5 or equivalent
  • Valid NMC PIN
  • RGN, RMN desirable but not essential
  • Experience in budgeting and recruitment
  • Passion for elderly care
