We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover contract from October 2026 until July 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to work within a supportive and welcoming school community, helping our children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning during this important stage of their education.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all learners
  • Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Be committed to ensuring all children achieve their full potential
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative staff team
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
