The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

Your new organisation's mission is to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Their aim is to work together to challenge stigma and oppression, by creating a respectful environment.

The successful candidate will provide support to service users in a safe environment. They will work closely with people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, providing clients with support from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey. They will do so by providing screenings, assessments, psychosocial interventions, recovery planning and onward referrals. Other responsibilities will include 1‑1 key work, POD and group work and clinical interventions.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working in a related field.
  • Experience working within similar environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to navigate a challenging situation.
  • Post subject to enhanced DBS check.
