Male Teaching Assistant – Northampton – Temp‑to‑Perm – Start ASAP

This role requires a male Teaching Assistant due to specific student care needs; it constitutes a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support
  • Assist with behavioural and emotional regulation
  • Support teachers in the classroom
  • Help with daily routines and pastoral care

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people (school, care, SEN, or similar)
  • Patience, resilience, and a supportive nature
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships
  • Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
