These roles will be temporary-permanent for the right candidate.
New starters will be operating Wood / Metal Machines such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press. Previous experience operating industrial machinery is essential.
Previous experience can include the following:
- Working within a production environment
- Machine operating experience required, checking quality and production progression
- Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
- Quality checking outgoing stock
- Wood/Metal machinist/manufacturing background
Attributes we are looking for in a machine operator:
- Manufacturing background and understanding of manufacturing process
- Experience of operating wood and/or metal machinery
- Good timekeeping and attendance record
- Operating edge banding machines
- Operating crosscut saw machines
- Operating drill machines
- Operating CNC machines
- Operating beam saw machines
- Brake press machines
