We are working exclusively with a well-established engineering business looking to hire an experienced Control Panel Wirer to join their growing workshop team in Northampton. This Control Panel Wirer role offers fully bespoke work with no repetitive production builds. Every job is different, with a focus on high-quality BMS control panels built from scratch. If you're an experienced Control Panel Wirer who enjoys full build responsibility and takes real pride in your work, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, long-term employer.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Control Panel Wirer:
- Building and wiring bespoke BMS control panels from schematics
- Full panel builds including back plate layout, mounting, wiring and termination
- Working on a variety of panels (wall-mounted, multi-cabinet, floor-standing)
- Supporting testing and quality checks
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working as a Control Panel Wirer, Panel Wirer or Panel Builder
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics
- Strong wiring skills including crimping, trunking, relays and contactors
- Experience working on bespoke panels (highly desirable)
Bonus (not essential):
- BMS or HVAC panel experience
- Testing or inspection experience
