The predicted salary is between 12 - 14 £ per hour.

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cable Assembler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Northampton. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Cable Assembler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Key Duties

  • Wiring of cables and looms
  • Crimping
  • Testing and quality checking products
  • Packing, labelling and stock control
  • Reading technical drawings and work instructions
  • Applying coatings and heat shrink
  • General production and assembly tasks

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in cable assembly and basic wiring
  • Good attention to detail
  • Fine soldering experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
