Responsibilities:
- Part of the senior leadership team, managing a team of 12 in engineering
- Manage all manufacturing & engineering maintenance across site
- Lead from the front, be present on the shopfloor and in leadership meetings
- Manage health & safety, engineering compliance, asset care plans, monitor & develop OEE
- Budget control, CAPEX projects, continuous improvement activities
- Create training & development plans for all in engineering
Qualifications:
- Must have great people management skills - the team is very established and has good retention, so looking for someone to continue to develop the site
- Automated factory experience - manufacturing / FMCG ideally
- Understanding of engineering compliance, health & safety, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH
- Experienced with budgets, CAPEX projects, continuous improvements
- Qualified in engineering, IOSH, Lean manufacturing
- Effective communicator, part of senior leadership team, dealing with various departments
