Position: School Teaching Assistant

Location: Gateshead and surrounding areas

Role Type: Flexible - Full-time & Part-time opportunities available

Age Range: Primary, Secondary and SEN roles available

Start Date: ASAP & from January 2026

Rate of Pay: 90 to 120 per day (depending on experience)

What You'll Need:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
  • A passion for supporting students' learning and development
  • Confidence working with pupils across age groups
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience supporting students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD)
  • Previous experience in a UK secondary school setting
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, degree, or equivalent)
