Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber - Band 6 (Sth) to join the Facilities Management and Building Services team based in Tyne and Wear. This is a temporary role supporting maintenance and repair works across a range of commercial and public sector buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed to health & safety standards
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests
- Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or building services
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence preferred
