What You Will Be Doing

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers to DVSA and manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults accurately as an experienced HGV Mechanic
  • Completing MOT preparation and inspections to a high standard
  • Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised night shift workspace

Pay and Benefits

What You Will Need

  • Proven experience as a Night HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
  • HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently throughout a night shift
