Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team at a recycling facility in Perth. This role involves operating a telehandler to move, load, and organise electrical equipment and materials safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in supporting site operations and ensuring materials are handled in line with company and environmental standards during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a telehandler safely to move, load, and unload materials across the site
  • Transport electrical equipment and waste materials to designated processing areas
  • Assist with sorting and processing recyclable materials
  • Load and feed materials into machinery and production lines
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
  • Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials to maintain an organised yard
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Telehandler licence (essential)
  • Previous experience operating a telehandler in a similar environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Strong awareness of surroundings and safe equipment operation
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
