A leading London bus operator is looking for skilled and motivated Level 3 HGV/PSV Technicians to join its growing engineering team across multiple London depots.
Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am
The Role
As an Advanced Engineer, you'll play a key part in keeping a modern fleet operating safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for carrying out inspections, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on buses to the highest standards.
Duties Include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV/PSV vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Using tablet-based systems to complete job records and inspections
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
- Supporting vehicle reliability and fleet availability
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working on heavy vehicles, buses or commercial fleets
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of workshop health & safety procedures
- Comfortable using digital workshop systems and diagnostic equipment
Desirable
- IRTEC accreditation
- PCV licence (training can be provided if required)
