Support Worker Location: Newton Longville

Salary: 26,853 per annum

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent (NOT BANK)

We currently have opportunities for Support Workers to join our registered care home, Litslade Farm, where we provide care and support for individuals with learning and physical disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in empowering people to live independently and achieve their personal goals. You will work in a safe and supportive environment where respect and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
  • Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect
  • Organise and assist with outings, appointments, and activities
  • Administer medication and maintain a healthy, safe environment
  • Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans
  • Induct and mentor new staff members
  • Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goals

You will be part of a friendly, collaborative team that works together to provide compassionate, person‑centred care.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive. You will also need to:

  • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
  • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
  • Work well as part of a team and independently
  • Be committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work

We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
