My client are an award winning architectural practice based in Chelmsford, Essex and are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician who is qualified to HNC standard, with a good knowledge of AutoCAD and a minimum of two years' experience working on residential projects. A good understanding of the Building Regulations and NHBC Standards is preferable. Candidates should have experience of producing working drawings and construction details, along with a good understanding of the planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Produce working drawings and construction details for residential projects
  • Support planning processes and liaise with colleagues and clients
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC Standards

Requirements

  • Qualified to HNC standard
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Minimum two years experience on residential projects
  • Experience producing working drawings and construction details
  • Understanding of planning process
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, able to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
