Freelance Site Manager for a high-rise residential scheme in Newcastle. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major high-rise residential development in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established main contractor on a large-scale city centre scheme, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily site activities across the project
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
  • Monitoring programme and progress against targets
  • Conducting site inspections and quality checks
  • Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing high-rise or large-scale residential/commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management procedures
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
