A market-leading FMCG business require a Production Planning Team Leader to lead site planning, scheduling, and team delivery activities. Applicants need strong planning experience gained within a production, manufacturing, food, or FMCG environment, with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver against demanding schedules. The Production Planning Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and delivering production activities across. The role would suit a hands-on and organised planning professional, who can combine planning, labour management, and leadership to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, manage, and deliver daily and weekly production plans
  • Lead labour planning and forecasting to optimise efficiency and resource allocation
  • Track production plan progress and adjust plans to ensure 'on time, in full' delivery
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams including training, absence, and performance management
  • Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance output
  • Coordination with internal teams

Qualifications

  • Production planning, scheduling, or operations experience
  • Strong understanding of labour planning, production control, and cost awareness
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
