Gas Service, Repair & Install Engineer Required - Permanent

Basic Salary: £50,000-£52,000 DOE

No Call-Out Required

Location: New Milton area (BH25) and surrounding postcodes.

R9 Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a well-established private housing specialist in heating, plumbing, and renewable energy to recruit a permanent Gas Engineer. This is a secure, long-term role offering excellent benefits, ongoing professional development, and a consistent, reliable workload.

Package & Benefits:

  • Up to £52k basic salary
  • Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm only (Call out is NOT required)
  • Company van and fuel card
  • 28 days holiday

Key Duties:

  • Gas servicing and maintaining domestic boilers
  • 4-5 jobs issued per day
  • Diagnosing and resolving heating breakdowns
  • Carrying out planned and reactive heating system work
  • Servicing and fault-finding on air source heat pumps (training provided)
  • Occasional boiler installation tasks (mainly straight swaps)
  • Minor plumbing and heating repairs
  • Providing a reliable, customer-focused service

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in boiler gas servicing and breakdown work
  • ACS Certificate (Cookers & Fires)
  • Gas Safe Registered
  • Full UK driving licence
  • ASHP experience is an advantage but not essential
