A warm and welcoming residential care home supporting 35 residents in a beautiful rural location near Navenby is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join their friendly and supportive team. This well-established home provides high-quality residential care within a modern and comfortable environment, with a genuine family atmosphere at the heart of everything they do.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home and the continued delivery of outstanding person-centred care. As Deputy Home Manager, you will support with the day-to-day management of the home, lead and motivate the care team, and ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, dignity and support at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Home Manager with the daily running of the home
  • Leading, motivating and supervising the care team
  • Administering and overseeing medication management
  • Ensuring high standards of person-centred care are maintained
  • Supporting with staff training, mentoring and development
  • Maintaining accurate care records and compliance documentation
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
  • Promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing for all residents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a senior or management role in care
  • Medication trained
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Caring, reliable and professional approach
  • Good understanding of residential care standards and compliance
  • Passion for delivering exceptional elderly care
