The Role
- Focus on minimizing downtime and driving system improvements in a high-energy production facility that prioritises Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and long-term asset reliability over "firefighting."
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintain automated systems, including PLCs, controls, and 3-phase motors.
- Support machine part replacements and conduct mandatory safety logs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and site upgrades.
The Candidate
- Collaborative, forward-thinking engineer with an "electrical bias" and a proactive attitude.
- Experience: Several years within an FMCG or high-speed food production environment.
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical fault finding, wiring, and industrial controls (18th Edition preferred).
- Mindset: Ambitious, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team player.
