We are recruiting several experienced and versatile Multi trade Operatives to support our long-term partnership with Amey delivering planned repair and maintenance on family housing on military facilities in East and East Anglia. In this role, you’ll help deliver planned repairs and maintenance across thousands of homes ensuring residents live in properties that are safe, comfortable and well-maintained. You’ll be supported by modern digital systems that keep work flowing efficiently and give you everything you need to deliver a first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations
  • Perform carpentry duties including repairs and basic joinery
  • Support with a broad range of general property maintenance duties
  • Work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality and customer service standards

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
  • Ability to diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs
  • Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience working in occupied and void properties
  • Familiar with PDA usage
  • Additional trade qualifications

Additional Requirements

  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (ideally)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • DBS and SC checked (or willingness to undertake)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (proof required)
  • Professional, customer-focused presentation
