About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a static role based on one housing estate, so you'll benefit from working in a consistent location without the need for daily travel between sites. You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance across social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties
  • Complete reactive maintenance tasks in a timely manner
  • Undertake basic multi-trade duties including plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and decorating where required
  • Diagnose faults and identify appropriate solutions
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter within social housing or maintenance environments
  • Strong multi-trade skillset
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential due to static site)
