A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market‑leading FMCG manufacturer operating highly automated production and packaging equipment. This is a day‑based position within a close‑knit and high‑performing engineering team. The business invests heavily in its people and technology, offering engineers autonomy, project exposure and the chance to work on continuous improvement initiatives including robotics projects.

The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving production machinery and site services, supporting both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown activities across the site. This is a business where Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers are trusted to self‑organise – you will not be micromanaged and will be expected to take ownership of your work.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements:
  • Multi Skilled Maintenance Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Engineering Qualification.
  • Hands‑on experience with both pre‑planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability.
Requirements:
  • Experience maintaining automated machinery.
  • Experience working on electrical and mechanical faults.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting robotics projects.
  • PLC fault finding experience.
  • Ability to carry out overhauls and continuous improvement project work.
