I'm currently working with a leading facilities management provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Multi‑Skilled Electrician to join their growing team. This is a prestigious contract for a local council and offers the opportunity to work across a high‑profile portfolio in one of London’s most sought‑after areas, delivering high‑quality maintenance and installation services.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations ranging from small works to large commercial/industrial projects.
- Perform planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.
- Work on single & three‑phase systems, LV distribution, containment (trunking, tray, conduit), final circuits & terminations.
- Fault finding, testing & inspection.
- Interpret and work in line with BS7671 / IET Wiring Regulations.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, sourcing parts where required.
- Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Level 3 (2357 or equivalent).
- Completed a relevant electrical apprenticeship.
- AM2 qualification 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- At least 3 years’ experience in building maintenance (planned & reactive).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid CSCS/CSR card.
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience on FM contracts.
- High Voltage awareness.
- Supervisory or gold card certification.
