Overview

Senior Finance Business Partner (Manager level) role in a PE backed business based in Leeds. This is a permanent, hybrid position with a salary range of £65,000 - £70,000. We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with commercial finance experience in FMCG, multisite, distribution, logistics, supply chain or retail sectors to drive profitable growth and performance improvement across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior non‑financial stakeholders to provide commercial insight, influence decision‑making and challenge business performance.
  • Analyse multiple sources of information, model complex business scenarios and deliver clear, value‑added reporting and storytelling across performance reporting.
  • Provide robust commercial insight to develop initiatives for profitable growth and support strategic planning.
  • Drive operational performance improvement actions, risk management and decision making in collaboration with operational partners.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, negotiating competing demands and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high quality delivery.
  • Travel occasionally to support operational challenges across business units.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and at least 5+ years of commercial finance experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge and direct senior stakeholders to maximise performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of using data to create compelling business cases and hypotheses.
  • Experience in business partnering across functions, delivering commercial insight and leading improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate financial information into actionable business relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and energetic approach to problem solving and delivering under pressure.
