Shift: 4 on 4 off shift pattern which rotates Day & Night Shift (7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am).

What you’ll be doing:
- The role involves moving both Raw Materials and Finished Goods to and from vehicles in a safe manner and highlighting where areas are not safe so the correct action can be taken.
- Most of the work is completed using forklift trucks and may also include wrapping, labelling, stacking of pallets, and stock counts, in areas that have low temperatures at around ‑20 degrees (suitable clothing will be provided).
- Reporting to the Cold Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Health and Safety and the Hygiene of your area.
- Other duties include forklift inspections and pre‑start checks.
- You must hold a Reach Truck licence to RTITB Level and be trained accordingly.
- Health and Safety compliance as per company policy.
- Completion of all safety checks including forklift and loading bay checks.
- Complete all tasks in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment within your team and across the site.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles (to the correct specification and quality).
- Scanning pallets into stock and conducting out‑of‑stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Drive all forklift equipment within the guidelines set by RTITB training.
- Induct and train new agency employees and sign off against SOP where necessary.
- Complete all loads OTIF.
- Communicate any shortfalls in advance using the correct escalation procedure.
- Report any incidents or accidents using the correct escalation procedure.
- Maintain stock accuracy by following intake and delivery processes in line with SOP.
What we’re looking for:
Must Have:- Reach Truck Licence
- Ability to work both day and night shifts as the shift alternates after each rotation
- Counter Balance Licence
- Health and Safety Qualification Level 2 or above
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
- Manual Handling Experience
- Experience with scanning equipment
- Experience working in a cold store environment (cold temperatures)
