Pay Rate: 14.00 - 14.50 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dependable Pivot Steer Operative for a long-term position in Leeds. This is a temporary-to-permanent vacancy; we are looking for a dedicated individual to join the team with a view to moving onto our internal payroll.

Key Responsibilities

  • MHE Operation: Safe operation of Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) forklifts within narrow-aisle racking.
  • Warehouse Support: Transitioning between truck operation and manual floor duties as required.
  • Loading/Unloading: Efficiently managing the intake and dispatch of palletized goods.
  • Safety: Conducting pre-shift inspections and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements

  • Certification: Must hold a valid, accredited Pivot Steer license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent). In-house licenses cannot be accepted.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Work Ethic: A proactive "get stuck in" attitude with a commitment to long-term employment.
  • Reliability: Strong punctuality and a professional approach to warehouse operations.
