Java Developer with Java, AWS & Angular required for a permanent career opportunity based in Leeds (Hybrid). Start ASAP ideally May/June 2026. Hybrid Working 2 days/week remote (WFH), and 3 days/week working on-site from the Leeds office. A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects.

Key skills, experience + duties to include:

  • Strong front/back-end development skills + experience of AWS Cloud environments.
  • Designing, developing + implementation of robust + secure Java software solutions using Core Java and Spring Boot.
  • AWS Cloud Services including: AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, CloudWatch.

Technical Environment: Core Java, Spring Boot, AWS Cloud Services, AngularJS, Jenkins, NodeJS, SQL/NoSQL databases, DynamoDB, GitHub, Backend, Frontend, CI/CD, DevOps, Kotlin.

Advantageous skills: Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts, Docker, Containerisation + AWS Associate Developer accreditation.
