Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment, and due to their continued expansion, Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
Salary: 30K - 32K Basic + Bonus + Commission + OT OTE 42K - 44K
The Role: You will operate as a field service engineer and be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Yorkshire and East Yorkshire areas. Duties will include:
- Testing, inspection, servicing and repair of fire extinguishers in accordance with BS5306
- Install and commission new extinguishers & compliant signage
- Replacing fault devices
- Accurately complete reports and documentation
- Upselling and cross selling of Fire Safety Ancillary Products
- Scheduling your own works daily/weekly
Candidate: We are looking for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer with at least two years of experience. This is a superb opportunity to train and upskill to become a fire alarm and emergency lighting engineer as our client will provide full training. Must have BAFE certification and hold a UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
