Our client designs bespoke machinery for the packaging industry. With ambitious growth plans and over thirty years of experience, the business was recently acquired and has therefore secured the investment to achieve their goals. Currently operating at £1.5M+ turnover, the business plans steady year on year growth to become a major global player. They are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter with immediate effect.

The role of Electrical Fitter will involve working from electrical diagrams to assemble and install a range of electrical components within our client’s bespoke machinery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and working from electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Building and wiring circuit boards and electrical assemblies
  • Installing and fitting components including servos, motors, control units, adaptors, and plates
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Supporting machine assembly where required (training provided)

To be successful in your application for this Electrical Fitter role you will need:

  • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
  • Experience building and wiring electrical boards
  • Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience with machinery or exposure to programming/design would be beneficial

For this Electrical Fitter role the following benefits are on offer:

  • £30,000-£33,000 base salary
  • 2.30pm Friday finish
  • Standard pension
  • Bank holidays in addition to holiday, as well as a business shutdown over Christmas and New Year
