Key Responsibilities of a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician:

  • Carry out services on specific makes and models of vans and cars
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
  • Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
  • General maintenance and repairs
  • MOT Prep & MOT Post Repairs
  • Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
  • Suspension work
  • Repairs on lights
  • Repairing and replacing exhausts
  • Repairing and replacing clutches
  • Dealing with gearboxes
  • Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed

Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician Requirements:

  • MUST have a UK NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI qualification to Level 3
  • Hold a full valid driver license.
  • Previous experience of working on Ford or Mercedes Vans would be beneficial
  • If you hold EV & Hybrid or F Gas qualifications this is beneficial but not essential
