About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Maintenance AC Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role covering Essex and the London region, providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support on a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems. You'll be working across a variety of sites including offices, retail units, and commercial premises, ensuring systems are operating efficiently and in line with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems.
- Carry out system checks, fault finding, and efficiency tests.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed via a mobile device.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Comply with health and safety policies and site regulations.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).
- F-Gas certification (2079 CAT 1 essential).
- Proven experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
