The Role

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging "mixed humanities" lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.

  • Contribute to the school's enrichment activities, such as local heritage site visits.
  • Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.

We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant humanities subject (e.g., History, Geography, RE).
  • A strong classroom practitioner with a commitment to achieving the highest standards.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students and colleagues.
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
