About the Role
- Delivering pre-set lesson materials to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with their learning.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policy and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Encouraging independent learning, resilience, and participation in lessons.
- Supervising students across a range of subjects and Key Stages (KS3 & KS4).
We're Looking For
- Strong communicators with the ability to lead a classroom confidently.
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to support student development.
- Previous experience working with young people in any setting (education, sports, mentoring, youth services) is beneficial.
- A calm, organised, and professional manner.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
