TeacherActive is proud to be working with a residential care provider in RCT that supports children and young people in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. The provision is dedicated to promoting independence, emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes through a child‑centred and therapeutic approach. The residential setting is looking to take on a committed Residential Support Worker on a temporary to permanent basis starting from September.
The successful Residential Support Worker will support children and young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing and personal development, while maintaining a safe and supportive living environment.
Requirements
- Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification or equivalent desirable
- Experience working within a residential care or support setting
- Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or additional needs
- A caring and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts where required
