We are seeking a reliable and thorough Part-Time Cleaner to manage the morning upkeep of a public corporate facility in Merthyr Tydfil. This short-term temporary contract is perfect for someone looking for stable morning hours to supplement their income.
Role Overview
- Pay Rate: 14.25 per hour.
- Hours: 10 hours per week.
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 09:00.
- Contract Type: 1st June 2026 - 30th June 2026.
- Location: Merthyr Tydfil (CF47 area).
- Dress Code: Smart, dark clothing (No joggers allowed).
Key Responsibilities
- Sanitization: Perform routine morning cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization across office spaces and communal areas.
- Facilities Care: Ensure restrooms, kitchens, and public areas are thoroughly cleaned and fully restocked for the start of the business day.
- Waste Management: Empty waste bins and safely move recycling to designated disposal zones.
- Health & Safety: Follow precise chemical handling guidelines and safety procedures to keep the premises completely hazard-free.
Requirements
- Punctuality: Must be dependable and strictly available to commit to the early 07:00 morning start time.
- Experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning, retail cleaning, or hospitality environments is highly advantageous.
- Attributes: A hardworking individual with great attention to detail who can work efficiently under minimal morning supervision.
