We’re partnering with a highly regarded boutique main contractor based in Edinburgh to appoint an experienced MEP Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking business with a strong pipeline of high‑quality residential and commercial developments, all within the Edinburgh region. Projects are typically up to £50m in value, offering real variety and complexity without the demands of national travel.
Your New Role
As MEP Manager, you will play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle, with the opportunity to get involved from early design stages through to successful delivery and handover. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) elements on site
- Working closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors from pre‑construction through to completion
- Driving programme, quality assurance and compliance across MEP packages
- Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Acting as the key technical lead for all building services matters
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an MEP Manager (or Senior Building Services Engineer ready to step up) within a main contracting environment
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Experience delivering projects within the residential, commercial or mixed‑use sectors
- Ability to engage confidently with clients, consultants and delivery teams
- A proactive, solution‑led approach with excellent attention to detail
