Key Responsibilities:
- Build machine structures, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand and power tools, ensuring precise fits for bearings, gears, and shafts.
- Install hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, and actuators according to schematics.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults during assembly and testing, collaborating with design engineers to implement solutions.
- Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers) to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety and quality standards (ISO).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience of mechanical fitting / machine building.
- Strong experience in special purpose machinery and automation.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and layouts.
- Proficiency in fitting and using workshop equipment.
