An established and well-regarded M&E building services contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its pre‑construction team in London. With a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality projects and a consistent pipeline of secured work, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio across commercial, residential and mixed‑use developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, preparing detailed and accurate cost plans for mechanical packages. This will involve reviewing technical drawings and specifications, carrying out take‑offs, engaging with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring all submissions are commercially robust and aligned with project requirements.

Applicants should have demonstrable experience in mechanical estimating within the M&E / building services sector, with a solid understanding of HVAC systems, pipework and associated plant. The ability to manage multiple tenders, assess commercial risk, and work collaboratively with both technical and commercial teams is essential.
