Maths & English Lecturer Needed Derby Immediate Start £25 - £30 per hour

Are you an experienced Maths & English Lecturer who can engage college learners with varied abilities? Do you have strong behaviour management skills and the resilience to support challenging behaviour? Are you confident working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality lessons?

The College is looking to take on a dedicated Maths & English Lecturer on a long-term basis, working Monday to Thursday. The successful Maths & English Lecturer will deliver and co-teach lessons to college learners, supporting a range of abilities while managing behaviour effectively within a two-teacher classroom model.

Qualifications
  • A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or English in a college, PRU, or similar setting
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Experience differentiating learning to meet a range of needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach
