Your Role in School
You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted academic support, helping pupils strengthen core skills and build confidence. Key responsibilities of Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation
- Assisting with SATs preparation (where applicable)
- Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Supporting classroom organisation and learning resources
- Contributing to pupil progress and feedback
The Ideal Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Will Have:
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a relevant degree
- Experience supporting children aged 5‑11
- Experience working with pupils with SEN and EHCPs
- Strong communication skills and confidence in supporting learning
- A reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach
