Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00)

Pay Rate: £14 per hour (Equivalent to £27,573/annum)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to join our laboratory production team in Dartford. In this onsite role, you will work within a manufacturing lab environment preparing buffers, reagents, and intermediates while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This position offers full training, making it a great opportunity for individuals looking to build or expand a career in science and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture buffers, reagents, and intermediates, and conduct standard testing in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Perform daily housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and basic calibration tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records, log data according to site protocols, and perform inventory tasks including SAP transactions and weekly cycle counts.
  • Follow all health and safety policies, read and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and report any quality or safety concerns.
  • Participate in daily team meetings, support manufacturing planning, and manage stock levels.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: A-levels in a scientific field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience: Previous laboratory experience or familiarity with lab equipment is advantageous, but full training is provided.
