Production Supervisor Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting a Production Supervisor for their client based in Newcastle under Lyme.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out regular equipment inspections and overseeing daily cleaning procedures to ensure all units remain safe and free from hazardous materials.
- Reporting faults, defects, breakdowns, or maintenance issues promptly to site management.
- Supporting repair, maintenance, construction, and other operational tasks in line with client requirements.
- Monitoring completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved and deadlines are consistently met.
- Operating forklifts and other manufacturing machinery as required within the role.
- Providing additional support to the wider operations team across the site as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Paint or Coatings environment is beneficial.
- Proven experience in a production/manufacturing role is essential.
- Clear communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic health and safety awareness.
- FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential.
