We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to help run a manufacturing plant in Bury St Edmunds.
Working hours are on a rotational basis of 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00 (includes weekends).
Duties
- Operate and monitor production equipment
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Help meet daily and weekly production targets
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Follow health, safety, and environmental rules
- Support stock control and stocktakes
- Work with maintenance to reduce downtime
- Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly
Skills & Experience
- Experience in manufacturing or production
- Ability to work with machinery
- Good organisation and IT skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of production processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing (helpful but not essential)
