Standard days Monday to Friday, early finish on a Friday for the Vehicle Fitter role, 39 hours working week. £27k-£30k per year DOE, working for a well-established company that specialises in converting vehicles into stronger, purpose-built machines.
The Vehicle Fitter role is based in Manchester, accessible from Oldham, Stockport, Hyde and Ashton-Under-Lyne. With over twenty years of experience in vehicle conversions, the company delivers high-quality, customised solutions tailored to meet specific operational requirements across a wide range of industries. Their expertise covers every stage of the conversion process, from initial consultation and design through to manufacturing, installation, and final delivery.
Duties:
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Cutting and preparing materials
- Installing components including panels, flooring, internal fixtures, and specialist equipment to vehicles
- Working from technical drawings
Applicants from coachbuilding, kitchen or window fitting, fabrication, cabinet making, vehicle mechanics, electrical work, or general DIY backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
