Aspire People are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within KS2 in a welcoming and inclusive primary school. The school is looking for a committed and experienced TA to join them on a long-term basis from September, with the option to attend trial days or begin working before the summer holidays. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties, helping them to stay engaged, build confidence, and make academic progress.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs within a KS2 classroom
  • Assisting with differentiated Maths and English work
  • Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
  • Helping pupils develop independence and confidence
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO
  • Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progress

  • Previous experience working with SEND or SEMH needs
