Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality person-centred care services.
- Recruit, onboard, and train carers, ensuring that all associated paperwork, including right-to-work documents, references, and background checks, is completed and filed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and motivate a team of caregivers and care coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they deliver care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and councils across Greater Manchester to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures as well as tender requirements of GM Framework.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and external stakeholders including commissioning managers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate risk assessments and care plans and conduct regular audits making adjustments as necessary to ensure the delivery of personalised and effective care.
- Implement quality assurance measures to drive service improvements and maintain the agency's reputation for excellence.
- Any other tasks related to your field deemed necessary for you to execute by the employer.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or working towards it. Equivalent qualifications may be considered (e.g., NVQ Level 4 + relevant management training).
- Be familiar with CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
- Understand safeguarding procedures.
- Understand medication administration, mental capacity, and DoLS.
- Registered Manager with a proven track record of at least 2 years in adult domiciliary care.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
- High level of organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable:
- CQC countersigned DBS obtained less than a year ago.
- Train the trainer qualification.
- Safeguarding Adults Level 3.
